Software Licensing at Weisman Tech Law
Weisman Tech Law is a boutique law firm focused on licensing and technology transactions.

Our attorneys represent vendors and customers in technology transactions and have extensive experience in negotiations with clients and vendors that are Fortune 500 companies.
Our clients range from start-ups to public companies in a wide range of industries, including technology, financial services, healthcare, education, wellness, food, energy, gaming, and nonprofit organizations.

We advise software and hardware vendors on the development, commercialization, protection, licensing, sharing, and exploitation of software, data and technology assets. We help vendors protect and commercialize their data and technology assets by structuring, drafting, and negotiating robust and effective licensing agreements and distribution programs.
We assist our clients with licensing agreements for deployed software, Software as a Service (SaaS), cloud computing, hosting, integration, support and maintenance, procurement, outsourcing, proof-of-concept, development, and a wide range of distribution models, including OEM, reseller, co-seller, affiliate, referral programs, and strategic alliances.
Clients who are purchasing or licensing technology from software vendors benefit from our understanding of both the client's and vendor’s businesses, and from our experience and ability to draft and negotiate deals that meet clients' objectives and appropriately mitigate their risks. We regularly negotiate commercial contracts that are robust and pragmatic and lay the foundation for a successful outcome.
We provide access to senior lawyers with BigLaw expertise and significant in-house experience who take a pragmatic and cost-effectiveness approach. Our law firm operates with minimal overhead, which allows us to offer our clients competitive rates.
