Hadas is the founder of Weisman Tech Law. In her practice, she handles a broad range of transactional services focusing on technology, software and data licensing and distribution, outsourcing and strategic alliances. 
 

Prior to founding the firm, Hadas was the lead intellectual property lawyer at Thomson Financial in New York (later Thomson Reuters / Refinitiv), a multibillion-dollar financial information provider. She advised on intellectual property issues in the context of business transactions and product development and was responsible for all content and data feed distribution agreements and technology partnerships and alliances.

 

Hadas was also an attorney at Debevoise & Plimpton, a top Am Law 100 firm. She worked in the corporate and intellectual property departments in the firm’s New York office. Her work included negotiation and drafting intellectual property and information technology agreements.
 

Hadas is certified as an Information Privacy Professional for the United States (CIPP/US) and Europe (CIPP/E) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the global standard in privacy certification. 
 

Hadas was named for nine consecutive years (2014-2022) in the Super Lawyers Annual List of Top Lawyers in New York Metro in the areas of Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions. Super Lawyers recognizes the top 5% of lawyers in New York.
 

Hadas is the recipient of a prize from the International Intellectual Property Society (IIPS) for her graduate thesis on software law and from Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts.
