Jannet Gurian

Jannet spent more than two decades advising multibillion-dollar financial information companies on the creation, sourcing, commercialization, licensing and distribution of market data and cutting-edge technologies and on related privacy and regulatory compliance.  
 

Jannet was an Associate General Counsel for the London Stock Exchange Group and the primary lawyer responsible for a billion-dollar division for wealth services. She negotiated global customer contracts with some of the world’s largest banking institutions. Previously, Jannet was an Associate General Counsel at Refinitiv and Thomson Reuters and Deputy General Counsel at Thomson Financial. At these companies, she managed lawyers and staff, oversaw customer-facing agreements and procurement contracts, and was the legal lead for the integration of Thomson and Reuters.  
 

Earlier in her career, Jannet was an Executive Vice President Corporate Counsel of Market Data Corporation and a partner at the law firm of Wein, Malkin and Bettex.  She started her legal career as a federal law clerk in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
 

Jannet is on the board of the Westchester/Fairfield chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), where she was a former president and is an active participant in Pro Bono work.  She is a Hokey fan, she loves sailing, and speaks Norwegian.
